Each bungalow is beautifully decorated and occupies 2 floors and 70 sq m of space, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. fridge, microwave), lounge area, private terrace, spacious air-conditioned bedroom (four-poster bed!) with en-suite bathroom and balcony, telephone and television.The private outside shower conveys a tropical ambiance with a carefree island life-style. The 27 brand new "Villa de Charme" bungalows (approx. 70 m²) and 3 "Villa de Charme Elegance" bungalows (approx 85-100 m² and including a private whirlpool) are stunning: In an elegant fusion of nature, architecture, heritage and hospitality, this range of villas has been conceived to create a totally different living experience. The wooden tropical zen design reflects the local architecture by use of wood and local materials, such as granite. It gives the villas a touch of exoticism and elegance, while conveying a feeling of peace and serenity. The outdoor bathroom, half-covered with a thatch roof, has been designed in harmony with nature. Each villa is beautifully decorated and spreads over two floors. It contains a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area, a private terrace for romantic dinners, a spacious air-conditioned bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a balcony. The private outdoor shower, beautifully sculpted out of stone, adds a special tropical touch to a perfect island life-style. For comfort, it is equipped with plasma screen television and wifi internet access. Breakfast will be served on your own private terrace in the Garden Villas. If you book half board, dinner is served in the Lounge area until the restaurant will be is finished (by August/September 2010). You may of course also choose one of the small restaurants on the island or make use of your own kitchen if you have a Garden Villa. There is a small shop nearby, the large Gregoire's supermarket is a 5 min bikeride away. Bicycles - ideal for exploring La Digue island - are included in our price for the Domaine de l'Orangeraie. The Domaine is very well run and quite popular. So please do book early! Until the last quarter of 2010 there will be some building activity on the opposite side of the road, where the restaurant, pool and fitness area are being built. However, there is no noise or other inconvenience in the villas. The Wellness Centre & Spa will be operational from October 2010 onwards and offers single and double massage rooms, a large hot tub, a hammam & a lounge area.
