Domaine de l'Orangeraie, La Digue, Seychelles:

The 10 Garden Villas of ‘Le Domaine de l’Orangeraie’ with its wooden tropical “Zen” design reflect the spirit of the local architecture with the promise of an authentic island experience. Each bungalow is beautifully decorated and occupies 2 floors and 70 sq m of space, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. fridge, microwave), lounge area with plasma screen, private terrace, spacious air-conditioned bedroom (four-poster bed!) with en-suite bathroom and balcony, telephone, WiFi internet and satellite television. Authenticity, simplicity and serenity merge in perfect harmony here. The private terrace with outside shower conveys a tropical ambiance with a carefree island life-style.
The Garden Villas can accommodate up to 4 guests. Connecting villas upon request.

Please note that from 2012 onwards, all garden villas will be refurbished, with the aim to welcome you in an even more comfortable, lightened up atmosphere. Each of the garden villas will then consist of 2 separate rooms. The kitchenette of each villa will be removed in the process and the villas will be in one level, not 2storeyed.
Following the refurbishment, Garden Villas will no longer be available on E.P basis, but on B&B and half board only.

Sloped against the hillside, the 31 brand new Villa de Charme bungalows (approx. 70 m²) and three Villa de Charme Élégance bungalows (approx 85-100 m² and including a private whirlpool) are stunning: In an elegant fusion of nature, architecture, heritage and hospitality, this range of villas has been conceived to create a totally different living experience. The wooden tropical zen design reflects the local architecture by use of wood and local materials, such as Seychellois granite. It gives the villas a touch of exoticism and elegance, while conveying a feeling of peace and serenity. The outdoor bathroom, half-covered with a thatched roof, has been designed in harmony with nature. Each villa is beautifully decorated and contains a lounge area, a separate dressing room, a private terrace, a spacious air-conditioned bedroom (queen size bed) with ensuite bathroom. For comfort, it is equipped with minibar, tea & coffee facilities, plasma screen television with satellite TV, portable telephone and WiFi internet access.
When staying in one of the Villas de Charme Élégance, you will have all the facilities of a Villa de Charme, plus an exterior deck facing a lush tropical garden, leading to a private outdoor whirlpool . In a Villa de Charme Élégance you can even enjoy the convenience and comfort of a "pillow menu" (3 different pillow to choose from) - that's hospitality à la Domaine ...
Le Domaine's Villas de Charme and Villa de Charme Élégance can accommodate up to 3 guests each.

Up to 6 family members or friends have an opportunity to experience the Presidential Villa on 485 m², including a dedicated 24h butler service. Details and prices for that villa upon request.


Breakfast at Le Domaine de L’Orangeraie will be served on your own private terrace or as buffet in the restaurant.
If you book half board, you will enjoy an excellent buffet dinner in the romantic seaside restaurant. It serves popular international fare and local Creole specialties in live cooking style and buffet with the “Catch of the day”. The outside deck graciously overlooks the Indian Ocean for alfresco dining. The breathtaking view of the sun setting over the sea will whet your appetite.

There is also a beautiful pool area on the Indian Ocean seafront, with poolside cocktail bars.

The Domaine de l'Orangeraie's own Wellness Centre & Spa has been designed as a refined haven of relaxation. It is located on a peak surrounded by massive granitic rocks with magnificent views over the sparkling lagoon and the sea. It offers single and double massage rooms, hair dressing, manicure and pedicure facilities. In combination with massages there is also a large hot tub, a hammam & a lounge area with whirlpool. You can choose from a whole array of treatments: from 30 minute tailor-made massages to 5 day packages.
The fitness area will be operational from early 2012 onwards.

A small shop is nearby, the island's little harbour and the pleasant center of La Passe is a 1-minute bikeride away, the large Gregoire's supermarket about 5 minutes.
