Ferry
connections between the Seychelles islands:
a) MAHÉ - PRASLIN - LA DIGUE (Cat Cocos fast ferry)
There
are 2 or 3 Cat Cocos connections daily between Mahe and Praslin, with
the evening ferry continuing to La Digue. The morning ferry has a direct
connection from La Digue.
The ferryboat going back and forth between Mahe and La Digue is considerably
smaller than the one running between Mahe and Praslin. So if you are prone
to sea sickness it's probably a good idea to change boats on Praslin and
take the larger ferryboat on the Mahe - Praslin leg.
CLASSES:
You may choose between 3 classes:
Economy Main Cabin (174 seats. On sea level, a closed cabin with aircon),
Economy Class Upper Cabin: (142 seats. Upstairs, outside but with spray
protection) und Business Class (34 seats). For a picture explaining the

The 15 surcharge for business class is not really worth
the money, we think.
If you book economy, please let us know whether you prefer "main
cabin" or "upper cabin". Changing the classes after the
voucher is issued will carry a 10 rebooking fee.
SCHEDULE:

ATTENTION:
due to a technical stop there is a revised schedule in place from 02 until
09 May 2012 (short-term change):
Note: On 17th May 2012, there will be an additional trip from Mahe to
Praslin at 10h00 and from Praslin to Mahe at 13h00.
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING:
Please make your reservations about 2 or 3 weeks in advance. 1 week is
the absolute minimum.
a) Either you make yor ferry bookings together with your guesthouse/hotel
bookings through us. In that case, we will take care of everything, ensuring
you the best possible connections.
b) For ferry-only bookings, please fill in the booking
form or send an email to ferries@seychelles-info.com,
stating the route, the exact date and time you wish to travel, the full
names of all passengers and the birth dates of the children, if applicable.
HOW MUCH?
The price for Mahe - Praslin is 50 for adults, children (2-12 years
old) only pay 25 .
The price for Mahe - La Digue is 63 for adults, children (2-12 years
old) only pay 32 .
For one-way bookings only we have to charge 10 extra as service fee.
So it is better to book a return trip. That will save you the service
fee and also the hassle of queuing up a second time.
You can change the timings later if you wish (one change is free), provided
there are seats available on the chosen ferry. Thus you remain flexible.
Please note that the tickets have to be paid in advance, by bank transfer!
Payment on site is not possible. We are offering this service only to
travellers directly, not for travel agents. To minimize time and effort,
we do not issue invoices. Thank you for your understanding.
In return you will receive a voucher from us, with reservation number,
which guarantees your seat.
BUS FROM / TO MAHE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
We offer a free bus shuttle from or to Mahe airport, leaving from the
airport one hour before the ferry departure and from the harbour after
the ferry arrival, directly to the airport. If you require the free shuttle
bus from or to the airport, please let us know your flight details.
CHANGING YOUR RESERVATION:
You may change the ferry booking without extra charge later (one change
is free) - provided there are seats available for the new date. Thus you
remain very flexible when booking return tickets.
b) PRASLIN - LA DIGUE - PRASLIN:

The one-way price for Praslin - La Digue is 16 for adults, Praslin - La
Digue - Praslin costs only 26 .
Children 2-12 years pay half that price.
